José ne veut pas gâcher de peinture. C'est une obsession chez lui.
A chaque séance il finit donc les deux palettes.
Jusqu’à la dernière molécule.
Parfois la qualité des teintes obtenues s’en ressent.
En décembre 2017 il essaie un nouveau truc : comme il y a plein de peinture noire à l’atelier,
il va mélanger du noir avec chaque couleur, sans les mélanger entre elles.

En janvier 2012 Paint it Blank tombe sur cette série d’images de Glory Holes.

Et dans le noir !
(ici on ne sait plus qui a eu cette idée là).
Paint it Blank va peindre ça dans le noir, sur fond noir, le noir de la Back Room.
José est ravi, il va pouvoir peindre à l’aveugle, ça lui foutra moins la trouille.
Alain est ravi, il va pouvoir peindre comme un cochon. Comme d’habitude.
2 séances. Mercredi 8 février, mercredi 29 février.
De là sont tirés 8 peintures de glory holes et un titre.
Format 46,5X35cm chacune.
De là ils envisagent d’abord un grand tableaux fait avec les 9 pièces.
En 2015, ils décident de faire 2 tableaux de 4 pièces, dont un titré.
Et une pièce au rebut, qui repart dans le gros tas de pièces à assembler..
